John A. Shoemaker

John A. “Buddy” Shoemaker, 64, of Finleyville, died Sunday, April 28, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of Carol Bercik Shoemaker; father of Lori (Bobby) and John C. Shoemaker; son of Florence Caster Shoemaker and the late John Shoemaker; and brother of Cheryl Charles (Andy) and Lisa Wood (“Woody”). Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Also surviving are his faithful companions Buzzy and Harley.
Mr. Shoemaker was a member of Haymakers and National Rifle Association.
He enjoyed NASCAR, bluegrass music and hunting at his camp in Huntingdon.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m., the time of services, Thursday, May 2, in David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (Route 88), Library.
