Daniel R. Katreeb, 60, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013, in his home in Tucson, Ariz.
He was born February 20, 1953, in Washington.
He attended Log Pile School before his family moved to Downey, Calif., in 1964, graduating from Downey High in 1971.
Mr. Katreeb graduated from California State University, Long Beach, in June 1977 with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering.
He worked as a research engineer for Lockheed Martin and a senior tech specialist for Northrop Grumman. At the time of his death, he was employed at Raytheon in Tucson.
His interests include museums, outdoor activities and aviation.
Surviving are his father, Robert J. Katreeb of Tucson; mother Dolores Gesualdi-Loest of Florissant, Colo.; sister Susan A. Katreeb of Florissant; and many relatives throughout the United States.
