Electrician enjoyed trap, skeet shooting

Walter J. “Waudge” Phillips, 65, of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013, in his home.

He was born March 18, 1948, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Walter and Helen Krusienski Phillips.

Mr. Phillips worked as a electrician and tester for Pennsylvania Transformer Technology Inc.

He was a 32nd-degree Mason, a member of Chartiers Masonic Lodge 297 and a member of Washington Sportsman’s Club.

Mr. Phillips enjoyed trap and skeet shooting, fishing and computers.

Surviving are a sister, Patricia Phillips Bruno of Canonsburg; a niece, Shannon Bruno of Canonsburg; and a great-niece, Elaina Bruno.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Thursday in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 19, in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
