Longtime Hickson’s Office Supplies bookkeeper
Mary A. Bailey, 88, of Washington, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in Humbert Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre, South Strabane Township.
She was born September 28, 1924, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Fredrick A. and Elizabeth G. Bailey.
Miss Bailey was employed for many years as a bookkeeper and clerk for Hickson’s Office Supplies in Washington. She also had been employed at Montgomery Ward in the parts department and at Blue Ridge Bus Lines.
She was a graduate of Washington High School in 1943 and a graduate of Washington Seminary in 1945.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She is the last of her immediate family.
Deceased are two brothers, Fred A. and Frank A. Bailey, and a sister, Joanne Conrad.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A prayer service will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington, with the Rev.
