Enjoyed camping with her family

Tresa Ann Hewitt, 40, of Nemacolin, died Thursday, August 15, 2013, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.

She was born April 26, 1973, in Morgantown, a daughter of Patricia A. Wilson Hewitt and the late Paul Hewitt Jr.

Ms. Hewitt was a graduate of Carmichaels Area High School, Class of 1994.

She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, McClellandtown.

Though Ms. Hewitt struggled with a lifelong disability, she had a sparkling personality. She enjoyed camping and campfires with her family, gospel music and going shopping. Sunday dinners were special to her.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a brother, Paul A. Hewitt (Judy) of Nemacolin; four sisters, Angela Baker (Derek), Joanne Uphold (Bob), all of Nemacolin, Susan Lewis (Tim) of Millsboro and Tina Toth (Mike) of Vestaburg; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, August 18, in Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, 724-966-5100, Paul M. Lesako, funeral director/supervisor. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tim Tanner officiating.
