Shelva M. Mansberry, 56, of Prosperity, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2013, in her home.
She was born Friday, November 9, 1956, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Robert S. Mitchell and Freda Fowler Mitchell.
Mrs. Mansberry was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ruff Creek.
A homemaker, she enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, gardening and canning.
Surviving are her husband, Perry S. Mansberry, whom she married October 26, 1975; three daughters, Laura (John) Zoeller of Prosperity, Rebecca Plesko of Perryopolis and Melissa Mansberry of Canonsburg; son Robert P. (Christie) Mansberry of Perryopolis; nine grandchildren; sister Darla “Dee” (Nelson) Krute of Philadelphia; three brothers, Robert Gene (Sandy) Mitchell of McMurray, Jack D.(Pam) Mitchell of Philadelphia and Timothy S. (Gwen) Mitchell of Washington; stepmother Katherine McCullough Mitchell of Waynesburg; two stepsisters, Carla M. Martin of Waynesburg and Darla K. Zarlino of North Royalton, Ohio, and two stepbrothers, Steven P. Martin and Rex L. Martin, both of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation. The family will hold a greeting of friends and memorial service at a time and place to be announced. Interment will be private.
