Kenneth Orville Paxton
1944-2013
Kenneth Orville Paxton, 69, of Washington, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington, with his wife and brother by his side.
He was born January 31, 1944, in Washington, a son of the late Orville Charles Paxton and Marian Ellen Dayton Paxton.
Mr. Paxton served in the U.S Army, stationed at Fort Hood.
He was an independent truck driver for Box US and International Paper for 35 years. At the time of his death, he was employed at GG&C as a van driver.
He was captain of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Canton, for 12 years. He enjoyed Pittsburgh sports.
On November 23, 1998, he married Mary Louise Dulick, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Brandon Fields of Orlando, Fla., Brett Fields of Palm City, Fla., Brad Fields of Fairbanks and Kenneth Paxton Jr. of Washington; a daughter, Tracy Emph of Washington; a brother, Robert Paxton of Washington; and two grandchildren, Austin Joseph and Piper Leigh Fields.
Deceased is a sister, Patricia Martin.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
