Diana Lynn Remaley Johnson, 55, of Washington, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, in Health South Rehabilitation Hospital of Sewickley.
She was born May 13, 1958, in North Fayette Township, Allegheny County, a daughter of Robert G. and Joy Cass Remaley.
Mrs. Johnson was a 1976 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and a graduate of Penn Commercial with an associate’s degree in accounting.
She worked in sales at Hills, Hess’ and Kaufmann’s department stores.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Friendship Community Church.
She enjoyed ceramics and needlepoint and was a very caring person.
On July 30, 1977, in Friendship Community Church, she married Jon W. “Duster” Johnson, with whom she shared more than 36 years of marriage.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are brother-in-law Mark Johnson of Scenery Hill; three uncles, William (June) Cass of Washington, Edward (Alice) Cass of Monroeville and Merle Remaley of Washington; two aunts, Catherine Sweany of Fredericktown and Margaret Dicks of Washington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her two dogs, who were like her sons, Hunter and Peppy.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 24, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating.
