Lewis Paul Blose Jr., 69, of Washington, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, in his home.
He was born September 26, 1943, in Washington, a son of the late Lewis Paul Blose Sr. and Freda Faye Stollar Blose.
Mr. Blose served in the U.S. Army from December 4, 1961, until his honorable discharge November 23, 1964, with rank of specialist, fourth class. He earned a driver/mechanic badge as well as a sharpshooter badge.
He worked as a welder at Jessop Steel and was a member of the Jessop Club.
Mr. Blose enjoyed carpentry and spending time with friends. He loved his dog, Buddy.
Surviving are his dear friends, Sharon “Shay” Reigh and Tiffany Ryan.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Friday, August 23, in William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Paul Mitchell officiating. A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday, August 24, in Washington Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded graveside by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175. Those attending the burial are to meet at the cemetery.
