Kimberly A. Seaman, 55, of Houston, died Sunday, December 1, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born April 25, 1958, in Washington, a daughter of Thomas and Betty McCartney Whitfield Jr. of Houston.

Mrs. Seaman was a 1976 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and graduated from Penn Commercial with an associate degree in business.

She had worked for The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, most recently as the Call-A-Bet supervisor, and also held positions of executive secretary and human resources supervisor.

Mrs. Seaman enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, camping and spending time at the beach.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two sons, Douglas Seaman (Jessica) of Houston and Drew Seaman (Alissa) of Canonsburg; six grandchildren, Xavier, Lillian, Dougie and Brayden Seaman and David and Keira Corbet; a sister, Cindy Whitfield; three brothers, Tom Whitfield (April), Gary Whitfield (Brenda) and Rodney Whitfield (Anne), all of Houston; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, December 3, in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in care of the funeral home.
