Avid sports fan

David Lee Wyland, 56, of Washington, died Sunday, December 1, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

He was born November 6, 1957, in Washington, a son of Delores Hoyle of Washington.

Mr. Wyland was a 1975 graduate of Washington High School. He went on to work for UPS Freight for 30 years.

He was an avid sports fan.

Mr. Wyland was a member of Fraternal Order of Bears, Lodge 83, Meadow Lands.

On November 15, 1975, in Washington, he married Vicki Nakoneczny, who survives.

Also surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are two sons, Joshua Wyland of Pittsburgh and Eriek Wyland of Washington; two brothers, Michael (Kathy) Wyland of Monongahela and Thomas (Janet) Hello of Washington; a sister, Terry (Robert) Schroeder of Washington; and a grandson, William David Wyland.

Deceased are a brother, Clint Wyland; a sister, Tina Howard; and a sister-in-law, Luann Toth.

Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, December 4, in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington. Interment will be private.
