Lena Mae Adrian, 81, of Cameron, W.Va., died at 6:16 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2013, in her home.
She was born May 27, 1932, in Greene County, a daughter of the late William Edward Rush and Olive Theo Hewitt Rush Webb.
Mrs. Adrian resided in Buckhannon, W.Va., for several years prior to moving to Marshall County in 1963.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Cameron.
Mrs. Adrian was a 1951 graduate of the former Richhill Township High School in Wind Ridge, and earned her licensed practical nurse certification from the former B.M. Spurr Memorial School of Nursing in Glen Dale, W.Va., in 1972.
She was last employed as an LPN at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale for seven years, prior to retiring in 1979.
Mrs. Adrian was a member of the OES Chapter 18 for over 50 years and also a member of Temple 134 of the Pythian Sisters, both in Buckhannon.
On July 5, 1951, she married Jack Carl Adrian, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Pamela, wife of Mark Wendell of French Creek, W.Va., and Sherry, wife of Tim Mackley of Coolville, Ohio; a son, Jack C. Adrian Jr., husband of Penny Adrian of Buckhannon; four grandchildren, Eric, Jason, Jeff and Brandon; two stepgrandchildren, Jason and Kristin; three great-grandchildren, Madyson, Taylor and Lenyn; and a brother, William E. Rush Jr., husband of Katherine Rush of Alliance, Ohio.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or funeral service. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to First Christian Church, 7 North Avenue, Cameron, W.Va. 26033.
