Randall B. Glunt
Man of many talents
Randall B. Glunt, 78, of Washington, formerly of Houston, took his place in Heaven Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
He was born December 28, 1934, in Washington, the eldest son of the late Harry and Hilda Glunt.
Mr. Glunt was a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.
He was a man of many talents. He began working at a young age and excelled in upholstery and painting. His biggest success was Unique Waterbed, a company he built from the ground up.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 60 years, Faye Glunt; a son, Randall G. Glunt (Ruthie); a daughter, Lori Areford (Frank); five beautiful granddaughters, Dana Glunt, April Beatty (Dan), Alicia Shaw, Kristin Blosel (Chris) and Holly Anderson (Justin); and three wonderful great-grandchildren, Randall J. Beatty, Julia Sobocinski and Madison Beatty.
Mr. Glunt will be loved and missed by many. His greatest love in life was his family, especially his precious great-grandchildren.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or service. The family will celebrate his life as he wished. Arrangements have been entrusted to McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.
