50-year St. Oliver Plunkett Parish member

Marcella “Marcy” Los Trout, 76, of Fredericktown, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

She was born November 20, 1937, in Scenery Hill, a daughter of the late Louis J. and Mary J. Buday Los.

Mrs. Trout was a 1956 graduate of Ellsworth High School and a graduate of Penn Commercial Business/Technical School, Washington.

For several years, she was employed as a secretary to the engineers at Continental Can in Washington.

Mrs. Trout was a member of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, for more than 50 years.

She enjoyed flower gardening and going to local casinos. Traveling with her husband on several cruises, especially to Alaska, brought her special enjoyment.

On May 13, 1961, she married George E. Trout, who survives.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Raymond L. Trout of Moon Township and David J. Trout and wife Kellie of Frederick, Md.; a brother, Joseph Los and wife Doris of Conway, S.C.; a sister, Louise Mosier of Washington; and a niece and two nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are a brother, Louis Los, who died in infancy; and a brother-in-law, Donald Mosier.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 21, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Michael Archangel Church, Fredericktown, with the Rev. Paul Grunebach as celebrant. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township. A parish vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Allegheny Valley School, 1992 Ewings Mill Road, Coraopolis, PA 15101, Attention: Amy Rocini.
