Walter Richard Stasiowski, 74, of West Alexander, died Saturday, December 21, 2013, in Kindred Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born April 14, 1939, in Meadow Lands, a son of Rose Gostic Stasiowski of Alexandria, Va., and the late Walter J. Stasiowski.
Mr. Stasiowski had worked as a mechanic and driver for Don Swart School Buses.
He enjoyed all sports, especially golf, and all Pittsburgh teams.
On August 16, 1958, he married Joyce Fife, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Ronald Stasiowski of West Alexander, Michael Stasiowski of Washington and Joseph (Lisa) Stasiowski of Claysville; a daughter, Katherine (Robert) Weaver of Washington; a brother, Robert (Pat) Stasiowski of Alexandria; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Stephen Stasiowski.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 24, with the Rev. Meade Lacock officiating. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Claysville Cemetery.
