Nurse dedicated life to family

Helen Ann Heinrichs, 84, of the Woodlands at St. Barnabas, formerly of Peters Township, died December 24, 2013, while entering St. Richard Parish for her favorite Christmas Midnight Mass.

She was born May 28, 1929, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of John J. and Edna Carmichael Weber.

Mrs. Heinrichs was a founding and longtime member of St. Benedict the Abbott Church, where she served with the Right-to-Life Committee. She was currently a member of St. Richard Church, Gibsonia.

Mrs. Heinrichs was a head nurse at St. Clair Hospital, a psychiatric nurse at the former Mayview State Hospital and a nurse at Baptist Homes. She served on the board of Washington Hospice and was a volunteer with the hospice at St. Barnabas.

She loved all animals, especially her dogs and cats. The most important aspect of her life was her family and she dedicated herself to them.

Mrs. Heinrichs was the devoted wife of 65 years of Frank W. Heinrichs; cherished mother of (John) Michael (Cynthia) Heinrichs of Scott Township, Annette (Ralph) Bolinger of Hamlin, Mary Beth Heinrichs of Pittsburgh, the late infant daughter Susan Heinrichs and Frank David (Teresa survives) Heinrichs; grandmother of Robert Heinrichs, Christopher Heinrichs, Adam Bolinger, Erica Bolinger, Laura Heinrichs, Justin Heinrichs, Frank Heinrichs, Ryan Heinrichs and Gabriel Petesch; great-grandmother of Caleb Bolinger, Gavin Majetich, Cale Heinrichs and Antonia Heinrichs; sister of the late Dr. John E. Weber and Elizabeth Weber Guy; and best friend of Nancy Anderson Wright of Friendship Village.

Funeral arrangements by Beinhauers, 724-941-3211. Friends welcome from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray PA, 15317. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, December, 28, in St. Benedict the Abbott Church, McMurray. Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
