Enjoyed cooking, watching football

Mary Ann Vignoli, 69, of New Eagle, died unexpectedly Friday, December 27, 2013, in Monongahela Valley Hospital.

She was born March 4, 1944, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of George Corbin Sr., of Finleyville, and the late Bertha Kozak Corbin.

Mrs. Vignoli was a 1962 graduate of Monongahela High School.

She was Catholic.

For several years, she was employed as a custodian by Ringgold School District, retiring in 2001.

Mrs. Vignoli was a member of the Hoot Owl Athletic Association in New Eagle and Slovak Club in Monongahela.

She enjoyed bingo, cooking and watching football, especially the Steelers.

Surviving, in addition to her father, are two daughters and two sons, Isla Wall of Monongahela and fiance Ray Bianchi of New Eagle; Arthur Fine at home; Gary Fine and wife Nancy of New Eagle; and Michelle Cafasso and husband Bruce of Ansonia, Conn.; a stepson, Philip “Randy” Vignoli of Carroll Township; a step daughter-in-law, Judy Vignoli of New Eagle; 11 grandchildren, Billy and Sandie Gerba, Lovey Vignoli, James Schock, Rae Lynn Bianchi, Brittany Kearns and husband Trevor, Bryan Vignoli, David Fine, Gary Fine and fiance Renee Smith and Dane and Katie Schock; two great-grandsons, Alex Kearns and Devin Sitte; a brother, George Corbin and wife Billie of New Eagle; a sister, Rose Belak of McDonald; and several nieces.

She leaves behind her beloved kitty, Misty.

Deceased, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Philip Vignoli Jr., who died February 15, 2011; a son, David Michael Fine; and a stepson, Gene Vignoli.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at noon Thursday, January 2, with the Pastor Douglas Kearns officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
