Evelyn Anna Knestrick
Evelyn Anna “Bill” Knestrick, 100, of Washington, died Saturday, February 2, 2013, in Humbert Lane Skilled Nursing, South Strabane Township.
She was born in Clarksburg, W.Va., a daughter of Joseph H. and Mary Jane Peterson McClelland.
Mrs. Knestrick worked as a glasscutter at Duncan Miller for many years.
She enjoyed going to garage sales and flea markets.
In 1942, she married Robert K. Knestrick, who died November 11, 2007.
Surviving are three children, Geraldine McCombs, Barbara R. Ardeno and Beverly J. Hadix, all of Washington; five grandchildren, Frank, Michael and Robert Ardeno and Justin and Dakota Hadix; three great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a grandson, Shawn Hadix; a brother, Joseph H. McClelland; and two sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Milum and Mariam Loescher.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 7, with Pastor Edward Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
