Helen Marie Seese Severini
Helen Marie Seese Severini, 84, formerly of Jefferson and Rices Landing, died peacefully January 19, 2013, in her daughter’s home in Woodstock, Va.
Mrs. Severini was born June 15, 1928, in Ohiopyle, Fayette County, a daughter of the late Walter and Nancy King Seese.
Affectionately known by her caring family as “Gram,” she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband of 61 years, John J. Severini, who died June 6, 2011.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Guesman, and a brother, Dale Seese.
Surviving are daughters Nancy Porter of Cherryville, N.C., Diane Overman of Woodstock and Kathy Bresson of Punta Gorda, Fla.; two sons, Michael Bobella of Monroeville and David Severini of Carmichaels; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Velma Severini and Loretta Koratich, both of Rices Landing; and a brother, Tommy Seese of Ravenna, Ohio.
In accordance with her wishes, a private memorial service was held in Hewitt Cemetery in Rices Landing. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Greene County, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
