Mae Jean Guza, 87, of Dunbar, died Monday, February 11, 2013, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born July 24, 1925, in Washington County, a daughter of the late Donald and Zelma Sowers Elliott.
Surviving are four children, Michael Guza of North Carolina, Patti Logan of Snowmass, Colo., John Guza of Gardener, Mass., and Mark Guza of Bentleyville; two sisters, Lois Conkle of Scenery Hill and Ruth Swart of Washington; two brothers, Richard Elliott of Washington and John Elliott of Dunbar; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Francis Guza; and a daughter in infancy, Susan Guza.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, with the Rev. Peter D. Asplin officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Scenery Hill. A guest book may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.
