Richard H. Walnoha, 84, of McDonald, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in his home.

He was born June 23, 1928, in Bower Hill, a son of Charles and Mary Urksa Walnoha.

Mr. Walnoha served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He worked as a mail carrier in the McDonald Post Office for more than 20 years before retiring in 1997. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.

On May 14, 1955, he married Barbara Mary Cox, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Dawn (Keith) Walnoha-MacKechnie of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; a son, David (Rhonda) Walnoha of Bridgeville; and a grandson, Collin MacKechnie.

Deceased are three brothers, Charles, LeRoy and Clarence Walnoha; and two sisters, Stella Rennick and Mabel Adams.
