Raymond Arthur Hoy, 70, of Apopka, Fla., passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013.
He was born May 2, 1942, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Arthur A. Hoy and Evelyn Eddy Hoy.
Mr. Hoy graduated from Waynesburg High School in 1961.
He worked for the federal government for more than 30 years.
Mr. Hoy’s dream was to have an old car and his baby for 13 years was a 1953 Chevrolet called “Black Beauty,” with which he won many awards at car shows. His second love was his dog, Jerry.
Surviving are his loving wife, Diane Hoy of Apopka; sister Helen Rinehart of Pittsburgh; brother Gary Hoy of Bridgeport, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and services were held January 19 in Loomis Family Funeral Home, Apopka.
