Catherine L. Burch, 76, of Carmichaels, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Waynesburg, following a brief illness.

She was born May 2, 1936, in Jacobs Creek, a daughter of the late Charles R. and Verna Lindway Brashear of Carmichaels.

A 1954 graduate of Cumberland Township High School, Mrs. Burch was a member of Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, Carmichaels, and lived most of her life in the Carmichaels area.

On March 30, 1974, she married Ronald L. Burch, who died August 20, 2003.

Also surviving are a sister, Darlene Metcalf of Ohio, and two brothers, Charles J. Brashear of Ohio and Francis Gene Brashear of Virginia.
