Sue Ann Carney Stiles, 76, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
She was born July 8, 1936, in New Lexington, Ohio, the ninth of ten children.
Mrs. Stiles resided briefly in Fort Wayne, Ind., New Concord, Ohio, Claysville and Mesa, Ariz.
In 1957, she married Harry Wesley “Wes” Stiles, who passed away in 2001 at the age of 72. Together, they raised five children, Bruce (Ann Marie), Kirk (Sue), Becky (Jeff) Kelley, Tim (Angela) and David (Sharon).
She had eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Stiles was a very kind and generous person and a devoted wife and mother. It has been said that Alzheimer’s disease brings out one’s true personality, and she was sweet to the end. Her kindness is missed by all who knew her.
