Ronald A. “Randy” Randolph, 71, of Morgantown, W.Va., died Friday, February 22, 2013, in Golden Living Center, Waynesburg.
Mr. Randolph was born December 24, 1941, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Allan “Bud” and Pearl Fowler Randolph.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Kupetz Randolph; two sons, Ronald Randolph Jr. and wife Susan and their children, Cameron and Christian, and Michael Randolph and wife Crystal and their children, Frankie and Crystal Kubichar; a great-granddaughter, Alexis Speer; a stepson, James Barnish and wife Michelle and their children, Jacob, Luke and Jadyn Barnish.
Also surviving are a sister, Beverly Baker of Jeannette; his first wife, Teresa Bellish; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Randolph was a graduate of Cumberland Township High School, Carmichaels, Class of 1959.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as a sonar/radio operator on the destroyers U.S.S. Basilone, U.S.S. Furst and U.S.S. New.
Mr. Randolph worked as an electrician, primarily at Vesta 5 Mine in Vestaburg and Pennsylvania Department of Corrections prison in Cambridge Springs.
Mr. Randolph was a life member of American Legion Post 381, Cambridge Springs, and past commander of both Post 381 and Post 954 in Jefferson. He also belonged to Jefferson Hotel Football Club. He enjoyed camping, hunting and traveling.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m., the time of service, Monday, February 25, in Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, Paul M.
