Kenneth L. Corey
Kenneth L. Corey, 61, of Canonsburg, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, in Canonsburg General Hospital, following a six-month illness.
He was born September 17, 1951, in Syracuse, N.Y., a son of the late Kenneth and Lillian Corey.
Mr. Corey lived in Canonsburg for the past 31 years and was a member of Houston United Presbyterian Church.
He was employed in sales at Sam’s Club and was very active in Robinson Rotary. He was a volunteer for Partners In Healthcare and enjoyed gardening.
On October 17, 1981, he married Eileen Hemphill Frye, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Eric (Debbie) Frye of West Alexander; two daughters, Jill (Rich) Rutkowski of Canonsburg and Lisa (Rob) Bistle of Washington; six grandchildren, Dustin and Danny Patrick, Jacob (Lindsay) Fisher, Eric Frye Jr., Kayley and Rachel Rutkowski; and two great-grandchildren, Braylen and Vincenzo.
Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Salandra Funeral Service Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 28, with the Rev. C.J. Haury officiating.
