Edith May Salamone, 60, of Falkville, Ala., formerly of Washington, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, Ala.
She was born August 28, 1952, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Leonard and Edith Moss Rose.
Surviving are her husband, Ray Salamone; two sons, Ray Salamone Jr. and Anthony Salamone; a daughter, Lisa (Paul) Gates; two brothers, Leonard and Tracy Rose; a sister, Mona Lisa (Nick) O’Neil; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Moss Funeral Home Chapel, Cullman, Ala. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 28, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Evan D. Garner officiating. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society.
