Mary C. Aloisi

Mary C. Aloisi, 88, formerly of Monessen, died Thursday, February 28, 2013, in Hawthorne Woods Assisted Living, Washington.

She was born October 9, 1924, in Monongahela, a daughter of the late Angelo and Bettina Conte Mastro.

Mrs. Aloisi grew up in Monongahela and was a 1942 graduate of Monongahela High School.

Prior to moving to Monessen, she worked as a secretary for John Bryant Real Estate and Insurance Agency in Monongahela.

She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church and its Epiphany Ladies, Court 776 Catholic Daughters of the Americas, New Eagle AARP and the Italian American Heritage Society.

Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Robert Warnick of Burlington, Ky., Elissa and Joseph Basile of Beaver Falls, Claudia and Thomas Diamond of Hickory and Carissa and Michael Gans of Upper St. Clair; 9 grandchildren, Rob (Corrie) Warnick, Derek (Anne) Warnick, Kevin (Kayla) Warnick, Jessica (Cory) Dougherty, Tommy and Patrick Diamond and Nicole, Amanda, and Haylee Gans; four great-grandsons, Henry, Oliver, Elliott and Conner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, deceased are her husband, Nick A. Aloisi; an infant daughter, Janine; and two brothers, John and Julio Mastro.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held beginning with a 9:30 a.m. blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass Monday, March 4, in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Monessen. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.
