Irene A. Imbrogno, 85, formerly of Monessen, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born April 6, 1927, in Charleroi, a daughter of the late Donald and Maude Kitchen George.
Mrs. Imbrogno was a 1945 graduate of Charleroi High School.
She had devoted much of her adult life to the loving care of her physically challenged daughter, Tracy.
Surviving are a daughter, Terry and husband Ken Harper of Peters Township; and a niece, Carol Gailey of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank “Gooch” Imbrogno; a daughter, Tracy Imbrogno; and a sister, Dorothy Hott.
Friends are welcomed from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Rhome Funeral Home Inc., a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Boulevard, Monessen, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 4. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
