Mary Ann Lukanski Banko, 63, of Southview, died Thursday, January 10, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

She was born May 6, 1949, in Washington, a daughter of the late John L. Sr. and Stella Tkaczuk Lukanski.

Mrs. Banko was a member of St. Mary’s Parish.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, walking, golf and spending time with family.

Mrs. Banko worked as an elementary cafeteria worker for Fort Cherry School District and as an assembler for Black Box Corp. in Lawrence.

Surviving are her husband, Edward Banko of Southview; three daughters, Sheri (Steve) Kitzmiller of Mt. Pleasant Township, Tracey Mastic of Canonsburg and Maria (Greg) Pond of Mt. Pleasant Township; five grandchildren, Robby Mastic, Isabella and Evan Pond and Jackson and Sophia Kitzmiller; a brother, John L., Jr. (Marcia) Lukanski of Southview; and two sisters, Patricia (Wayne) Roth of Southview and Carolyn (Donald) Vosnick of Shrewsbury.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Route 50, Cecil, where prayers of transfer will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday, January 14, followed by a Christian Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cecil, with Father Stan Gregorek officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Canonsburg.
