Cecile Wiggins, 65, of Indiana, formerly of Bentleyville, died Friday, January 11, 2013, in Indiana Regional Medical Center. She had been a resident of St. Andrews Village for the past five years.

She was born January 31, 1947, in Charleroi, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Lee Spadafora Wiggins.

Although mentally challenged, she was a bright and shining light and will be greatly missed by her family. Whenever she wheeled herself into the halls of St. Andrews, “Come here, I want to tell you something,” she would say, followed by a pause and a grin, and then, “I love you.” That was her favorite comment, and it aptly describes her.

She was a member of Ave Maria Parish in Bentleyville.

She leaves behind many loving cousins; the Spadafora families; Vince Celtnicks family; John and Debbie Reilly family; and the Skip Wiggins family.

Her mother, Lee S. Wiggins, died March 31, 2001, and her father, Robert E. Wiggins, died October 31, 2003.

Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., the time of service, Thursday, January 17, in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Ave Maria Roman Catholic Church, Bentleyville, with the Rev. Edward Yuhas as celebrant. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.

St. Andrews Village showed kindness to her and her family, and the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Andrews Village, 1155 Indian Springs Road, Indiana, PA 15701. Guest book and personal condolences may be accessed at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com.
