Thelma Hutchinson, 84, of Marianna, died Sunday, January 13, 2013.

She was born December 17, 1928, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Levi and Maude Morris. In her youth, they moved to the family farm outside of Marianna and Mrs. Hutchinson resided in the Marianna area the rest of her life.

She was the loving wife of Oscar Charles “Buck” Hutchinson, who died August 25, 1986. They were married in 1947 and shared 39 years of marriage.

Mrs. Hutchinson enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, holidays, reading, gardening, bingo, traveling on bus tours with her late husband and spending time in the mountains with her family.

She was the mother of Oscar Charles “Chuck” (Kathy) Hutchinson of Elwood City, Levi Morris (Debra) Hutchinson of Marianna, Eddie Jane (Regis) Stepp of Marianna and Floyd (Christine) Hutchinson of Amity; grandmother of Debbie Savani, Charles (Lori) Hutchinson, Neil (Sonya) Hutchinson, Chad Stepp, Regina Stepp (Chad), Danielle (Timothy) Bemis and William Hutchinson; great-grandmother of Amber, Daniel, Brandon, Landon, Logan, Alexa, Joshua, Layken and her namesake, Bella, and was expecting another great-grandchild on the way; great-great-grandmother of Christopher Brandon; and sister of Robert (Bertha) Morris, Shirley (Robert) Raticia, Barbara (Raymond) Adamson and Dietra Bennington.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are brothers Abraham, John, Leroy and Edward Morris; and sisters Dolly Leonard and Edna Mae Reno.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, with Pastor Paul Roofner officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
