Elmer N. “Ducky” Morra Sr., 82, of Oakdale (North Fayette Township), died accidentally Saturday, January 26, 2013, while in Florida.
He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Operating Engineers Local 66.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea.
Mr. Morra was the beloved husband of Emily I. Grady Morra; dear father of Lisa M. Norton and her late husband, Joseph “Bud” of McDonald, and Elmer N. “Ducky” Morra Jr. of Noblestown; brother of Arthur (Margaret) Morra and Edward (Joyce) Morra, both of Paris; grandfather of Elmer N. Morra III and Amanda Dawn Morra; and great-grandfather of Elijah Benjamin Morra.
Visitation and services will be announced by Moody Funeral Home, Route 30, Clinton. Burial will take place in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Memorials in his name may be made to Smile Train, P.O. Box 96231, Washington, D.C. 20090-6231.
