William Joseph Holden, 58, of Washington, died Sunday, January 27, 2013, in his home.

He was born April 5, 1954, in Pittsburgh, a son of John and Bernice Staggner Holden.

Mr. Holden worked for 32 years at the Observer-Reporter in Washington and four years at Lowe’s Home Improvement.

On May 10, 1974, he married Christine D. Newman, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Tara Spring Reynolds of Washington; a grandson, Tristan William Reynolds; two brothers, Edward and John; and two sisters, Ruth Ann and Anna Marie.
