Alfred Lipinski, 90, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of the late Cecelia Simko of 65 years and dearest father of Barbara Lee Lipinski, Susan (the late Donald) Klucha and the late Lawrence Paul and Louise Marie.

Also surviving are brothers, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are his parents, Bruno and Mary; brothers Edward Wisniewski and Frank and Chester Barent; and sisters Lucy Raciborski and Victoria Wozniak.

Mr. Lipinski was a World War II veteran, serving in Central Pacific air offensive-Japan.

He was a longtime member of St. Louis the King Catholic Church in Detroit, Mich.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, Mich. Additional visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10 a.m., the time of service, Saturday, February 2, in St. Sylvester Catholic Church, 11200 Twelve Mile Road, Warren, Mich. The rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery with military honors. Memorials may be made to Capuchins Monastery, Detroit.
