LPN retired from Western Center
Estella “Kay” Petron, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013.
In 1998, she retired from Western Center, where she had made lifetime friends. She was a licensed practical nurse.
Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Swihart of Eighty Four and Dawn Trickett (John Miller) of Washington.
Her heart ran over with love for her grandchildren, Alec and Broghen.
Also surviving are four sisters, Becky Henry, Ginger Wilkie, Elaine Ralston and Harriet Montgomery, and two brothers, Bob Huntley and David Huntley.
The activities that made her life so enjoyable were working in her daughter’s beauty shop at Humbert Lane Nursing Home, listening to audiobooks, reading books, spending time in a purple and yellow trailer at White Thorn Lodge and vacationing on a warm sandy beach. She was looking forward to the travels on the other side. “See you there,” she would say.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 6, in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home, 194 East College Street, Canonsburg, where a services will be held immediately following, with the Rev. Jeff Hathaway officiating.
