Agnes “Elaine” Manning, 79, of Washington, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, in her home.
She was born January 22, 1934, in Altoona, a daughter of Hayden Alwine and Carrie Mae Gettleman Alwine.
Mrs. Manning was a homemaker who enjoyed The Meadows Racetrack, the Pirates and the Steelers. She was an avid reader and liked puzzles.
On March 12, 1951, she married William H. Manning Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are a son, William H. (Diana) Manning Jr. of Beallsville; two daughters, Margaret M. (William) of West Alexander and Sally Ann (Harold) Berdine of Richeyville; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Clayton, Blaire and Charles Horton; and a grandson, Harold Berdine Jr.
