Canonsburg Borough retiree

Dominick Fortunato, 77, of Canonsburg, died Monday, July 8, 2013, in TownView Health and Rehab Center, Canonsburg, from a longterm illness.

He was born and raised in Canonsburg, a son of the late Frank and Matilda Rattenni Fortunato.

Mr. Fortunato retired from Canonsburg Borough in 1998.

Surviving, in addition to his ex-wife, Donna Fortunato, are three children, Dominick (Lisa) Fortunato Jr. of Erie, Lisa Fortunato of California and Ashli Fortunato of Washington; four grandchildren, Shaquore, Shay, Mason and Madisyn; three brothers, Alfonso (Freda) of Houston, Frank (Charlene) Fortunato and Tony Fortunato; a sister, Margaret Alderson, all of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
