Longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran, Charleroi
Susan Losko, 82, of Brownsville, California Borough, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born March 28, 1931, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late John and Mary Hrivnak.
Mrs. Losko was a 1949 graduate of California Area High School.
She was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Charleroi, and was a volunteer in St. Vincent DePaul, Uniontown.
Mrs. Losko enjoyed cooking and loved being with and caring for her grandchildren.
On May 11, 1952, she married James Losko, who died January 3, 1998.
Surviving are two sons, David Losko (Kari) of Meadow Vista, Calif., and Gary Losko (Mary) of Brownsville; four grandchildren, Patrick, Natalie, and Andrea Losko and Lia Gallow; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are two brothers, John and George Hrivnak; and a sister, Mary Smith.
Mrs. Losko was the last of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be private with private interment in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill. John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, is in charge of arrangements.
