Member of Our Lady of Consolation Church
Mary F. Ringer, 102, of Newtown, Conn., formerly of Nemacolin, died Wednesday July 17, 2013, in Pope John Paul Nursing Home, Danbury, Conn.
She was born March 9, 1911, in Oliver.
Mrs. Ringer was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Ringer; parents Andrew and Catherine Yanechko Orlosky; brothers Andrew Orlosky, Frank Orlosky and Edward Orlosky; and sisters Helen Kormanik, Loiuse Simkovic and Marguerite Urbany.
Surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Consolation Church, Nemacolin, the Rosary Society and also a member of Catholic Daughters of Greene County.
Mrs. Ringer worked for many years as the housekeeper for the priests of the Nemacolin Parish.
She was a loving sister who loved flowers and cooking, her family and church.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, Paul M. Lersako funeral director/supervisor/owner.
A prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 22, in the funeral home chapel, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. John Bauer Celebrant in St. Hugh Catholic Church, 408 Route 88 Carmichaels, PA 15320. A parish wake service will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
