Barbara Patterson, 76, of Washington, died Friday, July 19, 2013, in her home, with her family by her side.
She was born November 6, 1936, in Claysville, a daughter of the late William O. and Gladys Sampson Danley.
Mrs. Patterson was a graduate of Claysville High School.
A homemaker, she worked as a sales clerk at BonTon for four years.
She was a member of First Christian Church and attended Fairhill Manor Church.
On June 26, 1955, she married James W. Patterson, who died February 6, 2013.
Surviving are a son, James W. Patterson (Denise) Patterson Jr. of Washington; a daughter, Susan Kania of Canonsburg; a brother, David Danley of Fountain Hill, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Shannon Tokar and Adam Tokar; and three stepgrandchildren, Samantha Simile, Zachary Simile and Max Mastrean.
Deceased are a sister, Faye Belcastro, and three brothers, Edwin, Robert and Richard Danley.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 22, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
