Beloved wife, loving mother
Kathleen J. Sams Thomas, 70, of Graysville, formerly from Washington County, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 23, 2013, surrounded by her family.
She was born July 7, 1943, in Washington, a daughter of the late Stanley and Nellie Carlton Sams.
Mrs. Thomas was the beloved wife of 36 years to Larry D. Thomas of Graysville and loving mother of Dana Davis and partner Colleen Henning of Crafton.
Also surviving are three sisters, Sylvia Phillips and husband Mike, Karen Petrosky and husband Charles and Kimberly Scarfo and husband John; a brother, Mark Sams and wife Ellen; sister-in-law, Victoria Strawn and husband Raymond; and many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed playing piano and cards, reading and taking walks with her beloved dog, Izzy.
At the family’s request, services will be private and have been entrusted to Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
