4-H leader was Grove U.P. Church member

Sarah Elizabeth Wilson, 96, of Independence Township, died Monday, June 3, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born November 14, 1916, in Prosperity, a daughter of Forest III and Ellen Elizabeth Dodd Craft.

Mrs. Wilson graduated from Washington High School in 1936 and attended California State Teachers College.

She was a life member of Grove United Presbyterian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Grove United Presbyterian kitchen band. She was also a 4-H leader for many years.

On May 25, 1938, she married James Charles Wilson, who died December 30, 2002.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Wilson of McDonald and Samuel Wilson of Imperial; a daughter, Margaret Radosevich of McCormick, S.C.; nine grandchildren, Debbie, Donald, David, Timothy, Beth, Terri, Sherri, Matthew and John; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a daughter, Mary Griffith; two brothers, Kenneth and Fred Craft; and a sister, Mary Louise Boone.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, in Grove United Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Jack Emerick officiating. Burial will follow in West Middletown Cemetery.
