Stella C. Davis, 81, of Route Four, Keyser, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in Heartland of Keyser, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
She was born July 16, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of the late Karol and Mary Kolano Bober.
Also deceased are her husband, Orvis Davis Jr. in 1995; a brother, John M. Bober; and three sisters, Wanda V. Casper, Mary Ann Clutter and Katherine Golaski.
Mrs. Davis was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and Assumption Ladies Guild.
She enjoyed gardening and time spent with her family.
Surviving are her four children, Kathy Golaski of Sellersville, Janet L. Corley and husband M. Gregg of Keyser, Brian S Davis and wife Mary Jo of Berryville, Va., and Rich Davis and wife Laurel of Charlotte, N.C.; and grandchildren Matthew Golaski, Steven Golaski, Jordan Golaski, Gina Corley, Michael Corley, Josh Davis, Ruby Davis and Ashleigh Millinder.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, 336 Wilson Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Washington. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
