Member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church

Carol Berry Lindberg, 69, of Amity, died Saturday, June 8, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

She was born September 15, 1943, in Washington, a daughter of Georgetta Berry of Georgia and the late John Berry.

Mrs. Lindberg was a 1961 graduate of Washington High School.

She worked as a secretary most of her life until retiring from Clover Hill Foods in 2005.

Mrs. Lindberg was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church, where she was assistant missionary advocate.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Herbert H. Lindberg of Amity; a daughter, Rachel Lindberg of Amity; a sister, Susan Fowler of Kokomo, Ind.; a brother, John Berry of Avonworth, Ga.; and several nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
