Co-director of Mesa Creative Arts Center

Katherine L. “Kate” Silberberg, 54, of Eldersville, died May 15, 2013, of pancreatic cancer in the Cancer Treatment Centers of America Medical Center, Tulsa, Okla.

She was born April 7, 1959, in Canonsburg Hospital, a daughter of the late John and Blanche Kunkle Neal.

Mrs. Silberberg was the co-director of Mesa Creative Arts Center in Burgettstown and was previously a middle-school art teacher in West Allegheny School District.

Surviving are her husband, Brad Silberberg of Eldersville; brothers John Neal of Washington and Paul Neal of Bulger; a niece; several nephews and cousins; an aunt; and an uncle.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, in Mesa Creative Arts Center, 30 Miller Business Park Drive, Burgettstown.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Mesa Creative Arts Center.
