Canonsburg homemaker enjoyed farming, gardening
Ethel Marie Best, 82, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, June 27, 2013, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
She was born December 27, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of Clarence and Viola Plants Armstrong.
Mrs. Best was a homemaker and enjoyed farming, gardening, cooking, spending time with her family and her pets.
Surviving are a son, Robert Newton Best of Ellwood City; a sister, Betty Marie Plants of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Louis) Nunez, Joshua (Lesley) Best, Skylar Peffer, Tami Lynn (James) Palmer and Justin (Erin) Best; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, deceased is her husband, Alexander C. Best.
