Eighty Four resident enjoyed cooking, baking, camping
Vicki Lynn Smith, 44, of Eighty Four, died Saturday, June 29, 2013, in Center for Compassionate Care, Pittsburgh.
She was born December 2, 1968, in McKeesport. She was a daughter of Linda Koteles Fisher and husband Jeffrey of Finleyville and Dale Smith of South Park.
Ms. Smith was a loving and generous person who enjoyed spending her time planting flowers, cooking, baking, camping and listening to music.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her special friend, Bill Russell, with whom she spent several years of her life; daughters Miranda Smith and Timothy Marmie and Renee Smith and Gary Fine, all of Finleyville; a sister, Tracy Stiefvater and husband Dave of Bethel Park; brothers Dale “Doug” Smith and Linda of Overbrook and Jeffrey Fisher of Finleyville; a special aunt, Joanie Ranft and husband John of Finleyville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, with the Rev. Matthew Azzolina officiating. Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery, Finleyville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Ms. Smith’s memory be made to Frye Funeral Home.
