Mary Thelma Harris

Mary Thelma Harris, 98, of Washington, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

She was born August 17, 1914, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert James and Hester May Dentzer Osborn.

Mrs. Harris worked for ARC of Meadow Lands, retiring as president.

On July 14, 1933, she married William Glenn Harris, who died March 8, 1983.

Surviving are a son, Jay Harris of Washington; a daughter, Glenda C. Watt of Washington; and three grandchildren, Susan and Lisa Watt and William Lee Watt.

Deceased are three brothers, Kenneth, Robert and Clifford Osborn; and two sisters, Pauline Renner Ritchie and Maude Clark.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in Church of Christ, 700 Allison Avenue, Washington, with David Deagle officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Washington Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
