Salvatore B. “Sam” Reno, 65, of McDonald, Robinson Township, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.

He was born July 15, 1947, in Detroit, Mich., a son of the late Bernard and Mary Evola Reno.

Mr. Reno was a warehouse person for Supply Tech in Lawrence.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife, Dawn Porter Reno; sons Samuel (Christie) Reno of Imperial and Mark (Jamie Diamond) Reno of McDonald; grandchildren Alissa and Benjamin Reno; and brother Bennie Reno and sister Rose Marie Laplante, both of Westland, Mich.

Friends will be received from noon to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Full military rites will be accorded by Canonsburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 and Houston American Legion 902.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh, 5513 William Flynn Highway, #400 P.M.B, #283 Gibsonia, PA 15044.
